Camera Test at Filmscape Media!

Your friendly director Mr boyask here and with the creative team and schedule coming together, Darren, Brendan and I met with Filmscape Media in North Acton, London, to test out cameras we will potentially use on the shoot in October. The two cameras that most attracted our attention were the Arri Alexa and the Sony F55. We also looked at the Canon C300 but decided that although it's a great piece of kit, it doesn't meet our needs for the shoot. Darren got to play with the toys and kibitz with the Filmscape team, while Brendan and I stood in as test crash dummies for Darren so he had something to focus the cameras on.

Heads Of Department

Hi again everyone, Ross Boyask your director here i would like to let you know that the team is slowly but surely coming together. Phil has very generously said that I should crew the film as I wish to which is a relief. Darren Berry is on board as DOP and he'll head up the post supervision, Brendan Carr has jumped on board as Associate Producer and he's already working hard on aspects of the film including casting and the online presence of the production. Jenna Mills is set to be our line producer which is terrific as she is well equipped to deliver films on low budgets to a high standard. Additionally our old muckers Jude Poyer and Stefan Ashdown are joining in for stunts and special effects make-up respectively.
Hi there and welcome to the official news blog for the British feature film Parallel Hell, Here you will be able to keep up on everything to do with the movie from the Development, to Pre-Production all the way through to filming and post production. There will also be regular posts from  various cast and crew members during the shoot telling you about there personal experiences on set and more, this is the only place you can expect to find EXCLUSIVE UPDATES ONLINE :-)

Script Discussion

Hello people your Director Ross Boyask again, I've been tasked with redrafting the script, primarily to take the practicalities of the shoot into account, and to reformat it a bit to enable us to more easily schedule and budget the film. I've had long discussions with Phil and with Mem Ferda, who has been on board for around 18 months or so, and they have both been incredibly supportive of my suggestions and subsequent redraft.
